Now i'm nervous, because I do these drawings instinctually... I do start out with an image in my head, but then I just let the pens do their thing.

I chose the yellows because those are my lightest feeling markers and i'd done a drawing of a crow before in yellow and really liked it.
The red just seemed... I don't know, violent?
Not actually sure why I chose that one now, but i'm glad it suits your pallet!

You have a really great gift with having art that has/ seems to have a point to it. My art's all, "Oh, I just felt like drawing it and making sluts to raise my self esteem". e_o

I think you probably give your art more meaning than you think you do, even if it's not intentional. It's impossible to make really good art without having some thought to express, whether it's fear or joy or just, "DAMN she looks nice in lingerie".
