I got a chance to play gw2 for about a week, but my opportunities to play with friends were very slim. It reminded me of when I traveled to Tokyo alone to visit the Ghibli museum, watch Kabuki, and see the full-scale Gundam. Being unable to tell someone near me, "This is amazing!" was so repressive. It surprised me how much it seemed to hold back my feelings, too.

I hope all of you get to share all your best journeys with others.

What is this gw2 game you speak of? It sounds intriguing!

On the picture note - I love the colours! Me wishes I'd finally have time to work on my colours...

I'll try to come play, once you're up and running. Haven't really been able to get into it!

Certainly a message I resonate with. This is a beautiful comic.
I just got gw2 yesterday; the game seduced me for some time but I finally caved. Its all a little overwhelming sometimes haha.

Awww such a fun comic and a good message too! :D

Did you enjoy the game? Like would you recommend it for others?

It's graphically beautiful, but can be a bit much for some older machines with the required specs (hence why I can't play right now). But I do recommend it, especially for players who are tired of the WoW format of tank-dps-healer and want a different kind of cooperative combat. It's also great if you are like me and enjoy exploration more than smashing everything to death in your path, since the game encourages you scrambling up every bit of landscape, and crafting is pretty simple and rewarding and easy once you've gathered the materials. The non-human races also avoid the pitfall of disparate character design (when females always look like barbies, even when the males are huge monsters) and the Asura and Sylvari races are interesting and charming. Another plus is the personal story, so instead of having an avatar who looks cool but has no real personality, there is a narrative you interact with and events that you affect, and which affect you.
I love MMORPGs as well as solo RPGs and I found this one very refreshing!

Oooh, that's good praise and fun types of features. I wonder if I could run it on my laptop...
